hi all
anyone had one with intermittant power up have one works ok then switch off and restart red light blinks 6 times keep trying then suddenly decides to work ok
caps in psu check ok.also backlight is an led type

hi on these led i've repaired a few with the large diode that were short circuit, yours might be breaking down under load

Hi Shaun,

It's a thought as have a Bush LED24970DVDFHD Vestel using 17PW80 and 17MB62-2.5 where set cuts to S/by maybe twice a day, otherwise perfect - Chris

Would suggest folks give some idea as to what they might be talking about, as even Quuk folks can't guess everything - Just a thought.

found 12v low at 11.3v, replaced feedback resistor to opto couple now on test will let you know after test if all ok,ps this is a vestel chassis 17mb82-2,13month old with no help from finlux without paying

circuit ref r173 should be 1ohm it read 10ohm, still testing it but may have software problem as well, so looking for software to try ps this been used mainly with a ps3 suspect software problem from ps3 update

hi all quick update
tv switched backlights off again voltage tested with power to backlight but negative dissapeared as its swtched via main board software now comes to mind does anyone have an update for this model tried on net but no luck yet.if i find it i will post it on here

hi all
latest update to fault
reset via s/menu then run ,reset again then setup in swiss country and run it,reset again then setup in english
seems to have cured it been running 24 hrs without problem now.still no sign of software anywhere can only think different country has forced software to come back out of original process-er

this set been ok now for a long while.
rest via swisserland first was recommend by an engineer for an early sharp model
also for reference resister to opto was r100
