BUSH DLED32165HD DEAD

Hi Guys ,set is dead no stand by light . Has a strange vestel power supply its a 17IPS11, have got 330v on cap and 28V on the parallel diodes that feed the cold side of the board . Disconnected power supply from main board and have a 12 V supply on one pin going to main board from power supply . Problem is i dont know if there is a way to tell if its the power supply or main board thts faulty . Main board is 17MB82S. Any ideas, Thanks

Firmware failure is common with this chassis. It is generally model specific. You could try programming the flash ram with a file from a different make / model and it might get it going!

You didn't mention the main board and I have a 17MB62-2.5 with just the same problem - Chris.

Hi Turnip the main board is a 17pw82s which looks like your board except the socket from the power supply is shorter and has less pins
