Had one in today that didn't work 'till the board was heated, where the larger signal can, if bashed a bit caused set to work.
Discovered inside an antique 470Khz ceramic filter that had come apart. Hopefully sorted one from the Flea.
Manual is readily available on line, can't post, so check if interested - Chris.
Later - Thought try sort the resonator, a 5mm ceramic disc held between brass springs where 40 years oxidation caused the problem - Cleaned up OK, and now held together with heat-shrink sleeving.
