LG 32LC46 TCON BOARD

Hi all, this is my first post on this forum so hope someone can help, I order a new T-Con board (V315B1-C07) for my LG TV from EMOS and they sent the T-Con V320B1-C03 board for some reason, the issue I had with this TV was polarisation on the picture, sound is perfect.
Just wondering what T-con board they sent me is this supposed fit my model TV.
Also has anyone else dealt with this company, as they are very slow in replying back to my emails

Hi Ross,

Did you quote screen used ? It's not unusual for different screens to be fitted to same model and of course the T-cons are different.

Emos are well aware of possible problems, rather more so than most suppliers, and suggest a thorough check before ordering anything.

Chris, the part I ask for and ordered was the V315b1-c07, and their invoice even states the V315b-c07 so why they sent a different one I do not no, have been waiting two days now for a reply to my emails and still waiting... This TV was bought brand new some years ago and I'm the only owner of it, so the part I took off was the part I ordered, I have been searching the Internet for the other T-Con board they sent me and found that it's not compatible for my TV, unless you know anything else please tell me.
Why would I quote screen used?

Update on board, EMOS have given me a full refund as they cannot find a replacement board, so if anyone out there has a V315B-C07 T-CON board for sale please let me know

Hi Ross,

You're right of course, but it does point to the possibility of other screens being used in that model, not that Emos should have supplied in error - Checked and don't have your T-con on the pile.

Couldn't see from your piccies whether board uses the AS15-XX chip - famed for solarisation issues. Folks on Fleabay, and also Emos, replace them for a price - Chris.

Hi Ross,

The very AS15-XX chip in your second picture. Replace and all might be OK.

Had some small experience, and as the chip is only 99p from China, thought get some. Soon discovered that 60% of cheap chips are duff, but there are favoured suppliers if you want to try yourself, and have the gear not to fry the panel.

£30 is the cheapest I can find so far, seems very expensive plus the postage from my end

Think 30 Quid pretty usual, sometimes T-cons pop up 'new' from China on The Flea, but it's rare - Chris.
