Hi Shaun,

Suspect you might have a corrupted eeprom in spite of the reset. Suggest you get a service manual, place the tv in service mode and select options. Make sure each option in the menu matches that in the manual.

Shaun, can only suggest you try removing the tuner (not always easy, I know), and try again. I'm thinking of a possible short or fault in the tuner which may be upsetting the TV. Only a suggestion, as there seems to be a distinct absence of techs on this forum (apart from Turnip and Flash Jordan) who are prepared to offer advice.
Definitely a main board fault. You may find a cheapie board on the Flea.

Hi Shaun,

Other folks on Quuq have noted that duff PS caps on this model foul up the Eeprom. Would suspect replacement Eeproms are available from usual sources - Chris.
