BUSH DLED32165HD
« on: September 18, 2015,06:58:50 »
Hi Guys , have had trouble with these sets before but have got one with sound and no picture . Screen black no backlight at all . Is there a way of testing if the screen is faulty because it seems to be the same as the latest Toshiba where the equivalent of the inverter board is built inside the screen itself. Thanks for any advice

Hi guys As this is a led backlight its proberly a fault with the led strips. You will need to strip down to the leds and apply 20v to each strip to see if they all light, good luck

Almost certain to be one of the leds going open circuit on the led strips,as mentioned earlier check by supplying 20v to each strip or 4v to each individual led.

Hi Kennyc old Tvman is right, I changed the power supply and mother board in mine, only to find that a led in the backlight is open, and if you put a good power supply board and switch it on, the voltage to the backlights drops to zero, in fact am now looking for the culprit that has cut of the voltage on the psu.

Hi Papisco ,if you manage to fix the fault let us know how you did it . Have got this TV + 2 Toshibas with the same fault but havent tried to repair the tubes . Dont know if you can get replacements or even if you can take them out to replace . Somebody else said they were glued in and were not removeable. Good luck anyway
