Model LC not LE
Check lamp or reset lamp error counter

downunder:

Hi Al,

As Jordan says, go into the service mode and check the Lamp Error Counter. If it reads "5", the set will no longer turn on. Reset the counter to "0". If this is the case, you'll still have to determine the cause of the lamp failures or it'll come back to bite you. Doesn't sound like this problem because the set simply does not respond when it happens, but it may be on the way to lock out.

Hi folks,

Remember that 'Contrast John' (see file) had a similar problem caused by duff CCFLs. Had one myself, tube replacement a bit difficult with wire ended replacements as Sharp tubes have metal end caps that clip in on this model - Chris.

hi to all,as I remember there's a training manual released by Sharp, which tells to put to gnd pin#1

of OZ964(inverter controller) so to disable the protection and see the state of the ccfl lamps;I guess

it's worth a try.
