Lg 37lg3000 No Picture / No Sound

check smd fuse  f1 for open circuit on lvds/tcon board.

Hi Evilmrb,

No sound might indicate the set isn't tuned to anything in particular. Maybe a Scart input will enable sound, if there is any.

It's a thought that if the T-con pops, sound usually continues if the backlight does, as P/S hasn't cut to S/by.

The main board problem would be the other option if still no sound, and if 3 flashes represents error 3 as Jordan suggested, it's looking that way.
