This is my first post here, trying to fix this tv. I have measured all the voltages from the connectors from psu to ssb, and are all there

After 4min. the red led starts blinking twice and voltages become

Source is dps-119cp and ssb is 310431365664

There is no video/ no backlight.
If I'm not connecting main to source, I can start the backlight, with BL-ON pin to standby.
If I connect the mainboard and try to do the same, it will light for 1-2 seconds and then turn itself off.
I don't know what to do next. Somebody can help me please ?

Hello Belgium,

Pin 11 (Backlight-ON) is out of action at all times at 0V. I would expect this would cause the SSB to trigger protection (blinking LED), after which +12V (pins 5 & 6) and 12.3V Sound (pins 7 & 8) are deliberately stifled.

Could only find double-digit codes in the service manual, so maybe you've misinterpreted the code. Can't put a suggested board to your code, but if the SSB at no time is able to supply BL-ON volts (would expect 3.5V required) and you are able to force backlights on, then I would say the SSB is the offender. Probably too complex to fault-find the SSB, so it's off to market for a replacement, but I suspect you knew this.

I suspect the ssb, but maybe i can dig further and see what's happening.
I couldn't find anything in the service manual about 2 blinking.
Can I connect with hyper-terminal to the tv(without compair interface) and maybe see more info on the log?

Hi Kastilio,

Doubt if you'll have any luck without Compair. You could try accessing Service Diagnostic Mode by pressing sequence 062596, Menu (or Home) on the remote.

Double digit error codes are identified by slow blinks giving 1 digit and fast blinks giving the second digit.
I'm guessing you have your head screwed on and wouldn't screw up on the error code. Like yourself, no code 2 is listed in the service manual.

I'm still leaning to the SSB, because it supplies BL-ON voltage to the power supply board to activate backlights in the same manner it supplies PS-ON to activate the power supply.

After talking with the experts of these modules Philips has been discontinued and even those who did not happen to get a more sure - so I do not know what to advise you
