I had a le46m87bd (very similar board) doing something similar it just kept intermittently turning itself off and on! Reset the eeprom a few times and changed a couple of the solid state 1000uf 6.3V(might be slightly higher voltage) under the soldered screen. Resolved the issue after service reset a few times! The caps were a little high esr 0.5 ohms but not gone. These capacitors on this board get really hot which is quite surprising which i guess why they go quite often.
Good luck :)

They are 10V 1000uf see attached picture i have removed them before from a faulty same board that have also a couple of them to the left of the screen. You will need a decent soldering iron to remove them as the pads on them are quite large ( in fact i lifted one of the pads when taking them out).
Good luck

hi thanks for the info again, the smd you can snap them off and use electrolytics caps, if you have the room, more reliable. thanks
