the very basics in lcd fault finding.A start anyway.

Prob not my place to do this but if it helps anyone here goes.your lcd has gone faulty.Right you have sound but no picture. If u have a lit screen with sound then it steers you towards starting with t-con board, before replacing seid board allways worth checking fuse on seid board. If screen not lit, then suspect inverter board, the one thats plugged directly into your backlight.Start with fuses, usually marked F1,F2,ECT.if your up to it next check transformers on inverter, resistance should be about same on all of them.If these are ok you need to start thinking about voltages coming in from power supply,if they are ok change inverter,as it gets difficult to do much more work on inverter. In the power supply a hell of a lot of problems are caused by faulty caps, you can sometimes see a cap has gone by it bulging up at the top,but not allways.Any caps that are bulging change, make sure you put them in the right way round. The stripe on the cap is the negative side.Well this is a start to helping maybe a few newbies out there.Maybe some of my betters would like to enhance this my attempt. And before anyone mentions it no spellchecker.
