Most likely an error induced by faulty backlight LEDs. If you put it into service mode, it will over-ride backlight protection, most likely you'll get the service menu which indicate cause of shutdown. Check the Lamp Error count, it should be "0". When it reaches "5" it will prevent the set from turning on. Reset it
to "0" and the set should function again, but you'll need to find the cause of the backlight failures. Bruce
