  Hi Shaun,
what about trying to recover the board? enter the service mode then try to upgrade the software;to enter the service
do as follows:

Using the keypad.
1. Unplug the AC power cord, plug the AC power cord and wait until pyramid led blue is illuminated and then:
2. Press and hold V- and CH- simultaneously until SHARP FACTORY MENU appears;if this happens,it's possible
to upgrade the software.

hi michael thanks, the blue lights is on but none of the buttons work when i press them just locked up cheers
