samsung UE49KU6100KXXU

hi got this samsung UE49KU6100KXXU curved, switch tv on screen flashes blue screen the off and cycles on and off, i've disconnect the mainboard powered the tv on backlight comes on stays on, i have replaced the mainboard, but still the same fault, i'm thinking the panel is faulty

Hi Shaun, I've been caught out by that before. In the 70KU it's caused by a shorted D9102C in the power supply but I don't know it this applies to the 49KU. Check it out anyway.          Bruce

forgot to say no image, just flashes on and off blue screen, the woman did mention there's line down the screen, may be a
panel issue

Might pay to lift metal strips covering the bottom panel boards and see if she's been overzealous in cleaning the screen, maybe detergent has run down onto the strips and corroded them. just a suggestion - could be t-con or panel.               Bruce with a "C",

Could be an integral part of the main board or built into the bottom strips.

hello,could also be a smd capacitor shortcircuited on the base plates of the panel;usually removing it helps.
