humax lgb-19dzt stuck in standby does anyone know how to fix this fault?

Stuck in standby or no remote control functions is usually caused bt the electrolytics in the PSU.
The main culprit is a 1500uF, I think, cant remember the circuit ref as I havent seen one for a while. But it is visually faulty!

Hi thanks for the info, none of the caps were visually faulty but i replaced them all to make sure however this has made no difference and stil won't come out of standby

power supply stuck in stby.
check 5v stby in p.s whith scop.if ok check one of the leg (power on) in p.s (3v-5v)by operting remot
ifok problem in p.s if no problem is in main board ceck 1.8v 2.5v 3.3v regulators also waveform in x tal cristal and disconect cabel of panel botton from main board  could be memory or prosesor .

there is a 5v on the s/b but the other 12v and 5 volt supplies are missing should they be there when the tv is in standby or just when its powered up, i do not have the remote so can not do the test you said
