Hi, Does anyone know how I can unlock an Alba CTV3409? It is stuck in child/hotel lock and I can't get into tuning mode. The code I have been given is 000 but it doesn't work. Many thanks.

Hi Alicorn,

Think the set used two different chassis - Vestel 11AK08 or 11AK20. Which is yours - Chris.

try this. press p+ and p- on the front 5 times.

if the customer is sure of the code, it probably has a corrupt eeprom

This may help, but I dont know if the eeprom dumps work as I have aquired them but not tested them.
The txt file shows the option bytes for hotel mode.

...thanks Chrissie...I did try that but it didnt work. Thanks too Turnip and Keith ...after all that the customer has it back and is using it through scart socket !
