Toshiba 26C3030D no menu

I have a toshiba 26C3030D, when it is first switched on the backlight is on but there is no menu or picture.
There is no response from remote or buttons on TV.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry, forgot to say if TV is left switched on eventually it will start working.

Hi,

Have you tried switching the set to analogue when it is in fault??

If the analogue works ok , then you probably need to reload the firmware
