Toshiba 26C3030D no menu

I have the same TV with exactly the same problem.  I opened it up about 3 weeks ago and re-seated all the plugs and all was well... But... It's back... Gray screen, which eventually turns blue with no response from any controls!..  Does it really need to go to the Skip or does anybody have any bright ideas??

Had this problem a couple of times and its been a duff lcd panel. Usually it can be proved by holding the top corners of the screen and giving it a twist while the fault is present. If the picture returns you've found your problem.

Had it a while ago, but forgot - the twist showed the fault - pity as it became scrap - Chris.
