hi mate i know you been in hte game longer than me but recently i had a similar problem with an 32lc56 lg i had a beautiful pic but no sound then eventualy the pic also went although the inverters were working this was on a combined psu/inverter as it happened i had a spare psu so changed it out then i had picture sound and tv has been running fine since might be worth a look although the lg you have has a sepereate psu rgds dave

Had the combo panel set you mention and add Quuq and other comments - Chris

Switches to S/by after 20 mins – usually restarts and runs for a shorter period. Just B4 tripping backlight goes out. Thoughts are that it’s an invertor problem as heating invertor transformer T701(2130KP0175A-F) provokes the problem.
Dries can cause T701 to cremate (Had one with free replacement from our own LG Hero - TV Tony)

hi chris the box the power supply came in had a return address on it thats the address it needs to go back to .did you get the inverter panel ok ?

Hi Dave,

As I Emailed you directly on getting the wrong package was expecting some forwarding address. Cleaned up the box for onward postage so now don't have that Cornwall return address previously labelled - remember it was Helston, where they have furry dances - been there, had a glass - will check me bins
