Hi to all.
priblem is red led stby is on by power whith remot or stby swich tv works fine for about 10 sec and then click and go to stby.power again  same thing .after a few more powering relay is clicking tv wont power no backlight.
 i chnged the strw6765 no cure.
 could be signal power??.
anyone hade the same problem???.

hi mate did the tcon change have no effect ? ie tcon fhd-cm always going faulty had 2 myself changed both with positive results

tcon wasnt change but what is the conection between tcon to the problem? is it  a protect or what?.

hi it could be a protection issue if i remember the first one i did the red standby light was constant although the tv was operating minus the signal ?? iv never seen these tvs with any other fault to be honest iv done a couple myself and seen three or four on ebay going for silly money again with a tcon issue its got to be worth a shot . put it this way the tcon that is in there will fail if its not the fault so will eventualy need doing anyway .

Hi again davenjax.
the problem that i have is.
tv works fine for aboat 10 sec than backlight is off and tv goes to stby.
i plug out the lvds cabel and operet again backlight ok no pic and same problem .
by checking protect pin it always 0v.
by opereting again and again sometimes relay keep on clicking and sometimes stuck in stby .
why it the tcon?.

hi mate  really does sound like a strange one but your symptoms sound similar to my last one which did appear to be stuck in standby ie red light no back light just a clicking relay but it never actualy operated and went to standby itself but i had an intemittent faulty tcon for checking with and it did work for a while hence the change .i could be wrong but iv never had any other issues with these so faar

by checking the tv today.
tv wont power up no power LED just clilckilg relay .take out the p.s and check only 5v. put 4v(ext) to power pin relay clicks and hold .put another 5v (ext) to power signal pin no clicks to the other relay(2 relays in p.
s).
i think the problem in p.s(PE0171C-1_).
NEED A SERVICE MANUAL TO THIS TV or list p.s schematic diagram.
anyone can help me plees .

Hi,
Maybe worth checking!
Resolder IC 420 MP2105DJ-LF-Z, on signal processing board.
sometimes it has to be removed and pcb cleaned before resoldering.
The cause is D DR 2.5v rail is missing from Cortez ic which prevents boot up.

thanks brain for the info.
by digging the schematic of the power supply i notice that pfc section dont functoin well.
by powering (exr 5v to power pin)it should operet the pfc ic srx2039 and this result 380v -400v in the main big capi . i meseared allwas 300v.the vcc pin 7 in the pfc ic is 22v and its ok it comes by power pin thro regultor system and 25vstby in the stby system. i dont see any pulses in this pfc system.
am i missing somthig? becouse i checked all components in pfc system the only thing is to change the srx2039 and hope for good result.also mesere 2.5v in pin no 6 in the ic i think it shuld be 5v.
any other adia?.any toshibas  expert?

pfc dont work well.
shuld be in pfc output around 370v it always measured around 300v.
do you think that tv go to stby after 10sec of operetion? dont sea any conection between pfc to shut down issue.
or pfc give more power yo output of the p.s ?.
thinkinkig to order a new p.s .cant get ic pfc SRX2039 NOP DATA SHEET.

brain.i resolder the regulation ic 420 that regulet for 2.5v but no cure.
any other adia befor i order a neu power supply for 700 NIS and take a chance for loosing .......
 were is my heros daz sparky mulja turnip and many many more.  thanks in advance.
