I haven't been able to test them yet till maybe mid next week, was after studying the circuit first (layed off at the mo), the shop that sent them to said the fault is as follows "On switch on the Blue led comes on and not the normal red led first, and the TV does nothing as all other voltages are down".
To me the always 5V standby is working but the main power doesn't start up, I have never seen these sets before, and I have only been sent the power supplies. This chap was the oficial service depo for the make locally, but he only works at panel changing level and not component fault finding, unless the fault (like bulgy caps) stands out, and he's willing to pay a fair price to have them repaired. All three he say's have the same fault, so it must be a "stock fault", are they still called this way?? I'll post all findings here.
