Hi Folks

I did think after my last post that I had not really fixed the problem.  The picture looks OK but TV is taking some time 2 start and the lamp fault count is moving up.  Sometimes the TV runs for around 1 minute then picture goes, about 10 seconds later  sound drops out and the TV goes off and the LED goes from green to red. Set it on again and it will run for several  hours with no problem.

Picture looks fine and the background on the TV with a fixed image is consistent in colour and brightness.

Any other experiences or points I could check?

cheers

bob

HI you have a faulty lamp you can buy them from chs £15 each i think ,i recall you check them in the service menu and pick a screen test pattern and you should see some shadowing .there is a sharp service sheet somewhere on the forum

Hi All

Have got the TV going but only if I leave the short on  C7558 on the PSU panel in place.  All lamps do look OK on a test waveforms but one warms up a bit slower than the others. Couple of further questions B4  I finally cal it a day

Has anyone got the circuit diagram of the PSU Board reference number RUNTKA396WJN1?  It is not in the repair manual

what do you have to do to get at the lamps??

thanks in advance 4 any help  cheers
