Inverter FETS
« on: June 03, 2011,08:15:48 »
Hi all,

Anyone know of an equivalent  for P4404EDG or a source for the original. I have tried several replacements that should be OK, but they all get too hot.

This seems to be quite a common FET is smaller, 26", sets.

Thanks

Keith

I reckon SQD50P04-13L-GE3 (in stock Farnell 1869921).  Dumb question, but did a circuit, lamp or transformer fault cause the original to overheat and fail, that would need fixing first?

All the best,
Matt

Hi

The fet in question is a  P channel  -40V 44mohm 10A D-PAK logic level fet.  Assuming her is not a nother fault causing it 2 overheat as last post suggested it may be important to get a matching logic level fet to ensure it fully turns on, Suspect IR do them  and RE or Farnell would stock them

hope this helps

Hi Keith,

May be cheating but serious Quuq folks may well have the odd inverter panel kicking about -

Just a thought - Chris.
