My bad. It's a GOODMANS LD3202, I had a senior moment when I typed Grundig (because the other set on my bench at the moment is a Grundig) I've edited the original post as well to save any more confusion.
Anyway my blank eeprom arrived today and I've fitted it, but it has made no difference (i.e set still forgets all settings after a power cycle, just like it does with no eeprom fitted)
Now excuse my ignorance as this is the first time i've had an eeprom fault on a set. I kind of hoped just plugging a blank one in and all would be well. Obviously not.
Now do I program the replacement eeprom, and in the highly likely event that I don't have the means to do it, is there a forum member willing to do it for me.
By the way another oddity of this set at the moment is the remote control is very unresponsive. It's not the remote control itself, but what happens if you press ANY button on the remote, it will do what you press, but then it won't respond to another RC command for 10 seconds
tom66:
On RC "Menu" then 4 7 2 5 one press every 0.5 seconds (it's **very** sensitive) then reset all settings. You will then need to configure it from the default configuration as it will likely have loads of features it doesn't really have like extra video inputs and sometimes the panel setting can be incorrect causing bad colours. Good luck!

Hi Dave, was looking for some info on the Goodmans LD3202 and google led me here...
Would you mind checking the LCD panel that's in this? Is it QD32HL01?
I have Sagem Axium HD-L32 which uses this panel and has horizontal lines appearing. Hard to find info or spares to do any board swaps, so I was looking for other TVs which use this panel.
Original thread: Sagem Axium HD-L32 LCD - Horizontal Lines
Thanks
ProDave:
The set's finished and gone I'm afraid so I can't check anything.
All I have left is a spare remote control for this set (it came with two for some reason)
Your fault looks like a panel fault.
