NEON C3298F LCD TV

Hello Group,
This set is dead with the red standby light only.
The power supply (MLT868) produces 25v,12v,5,and 3v.
Are there any common faults with this tv.
The signals board is CV109H and I think the eeprom is U6 (25X32VSIG).
I can not find a supplier for the eeprom.
Any help would be good.

Hi Ian,

Had one recently (check back threads) where pic had a digital 'LSD' apect - reset did the biz with mine.
Admittedy difficult to get to S/mode if it won't fire up - Chris.

Hi Ian ...This is what I got reading the flash eprom in the 24inch version ..
If you can use it to write a new 25X32 ...then you might be able then to access service mode ..and set to a larger lcd panel ..

before you do anything check the main boards similarity ..
Just been round to my shop to get a photo of the board I accessed ..
Turns out its not a CV109H....its actually a CV106LS1 V2.1
and the chip reference is U4 ...
sorry m8 ...
but am attaching a photo so you can compare anyway ..

Hello Evan,
My board (CV109H ) is different to yours.
I have attached a photo of the board and the power supply.
The eeprom U6 (25x32VSIG) is a W25x35VSIG.
I have identified pins 5 and 6 as the data and clock pins and have tried powering up and down with these pins s/c, but it still will not start up.
None of my suppliers list this ic.
