Just change caps 80/90% certain to cure. Make sure you use 105 degree ones. Cheers, Doug.

Hi,a happy N/Y to all,now you should check up the smd MOSFETS on the IP board if everything OK try to override the controller IC's protections.

Hi BNM,

Where's this manual on Quuq ?  - Keen Folks will doubtless check your problem and come up with solutions of some sort - Chris

Hi Billy, can you tell me what kind of ic is mounted on the inverter board,as the service manual doesn't list it.

hi michael

the inverter board and power supply is all in one
there are three surface mount ics on the back of the board

2x 8 pin ics = nikos  p210nvc
and 1x 20 pin ic = OZL68GN

morning all

has anyone had any ideas of a mod i could try as when first switch on it has a slight pink tint so i suspect a ccfl going bad and making the sensing circuit kick in

hi guys

just tried again and noticed when it reverts back to stanbdy i have a slight buzzing noise from speakers and when unpluged from mains i get a popping noise from them also

i dont know if this helps point to anything that may be going or has gone bad on power supply ?

regards
billy
