Bush BTVD91216 LCD TV power supply fault

Hello everyone.  As an old CRT television repair man I have not really stepped up to the plate on LCD TVs yet.  However I promised an old customer I would look at her LCD TV for her.  It has power and a red LED lights but is not coming out of standby.  Monitoring the small power supply it is making 12vdc Ok but on main PCB some chips do not have a 5v supply.  Has anyone got a schematic for this model or even a make and model that uses a similar chassis or has anyone seen this fault before?  Any help will be appreciated and start me on the road to LCD repairs.   (I am now more into repairing stage equipment - better support from manufactuureres.)

Hi

I can't find any info on this model number so am unsure of the chassis. This type of fault can be due to eeprom data corruption caused by poor smoothing of the supply lines.

Thanks for replying Keith, and sorry for delay in responding.  I have checked supply lines and all seems ok.  I have some more information that may help in indentifying the circuit.  The mainboard is PLV9121E13 and the eeprom is 24C04A, tuner DT58WT-2B-E (or TCL0031390).  The supply to the eeprom is 3.27volts so this may be the problem but cannot chase the circuit through to see where it is coming from.  The main 5v regulator is giving 5v ok so i guess the supply to the eeprom may be switched when the set comes out of standby.

I know this is way to late prob but maybe someone else will read and learn seriously might sound silly but to get it out of stand by modeplease just do this hold the "VOL -" button on the TV itself and the MENU button on the remote, both for 5 seconds.and just like that it will turn on my tv does this every 6 month or so and I do this and it works right away hope I helped someone atleast let me know how you get on after doing this anyone who tryes it thankyou for reading
