hi chaps is there another eeprom i could use for this samsung le40r88bd the one in this is 24c256bn or where to order this one from. thanks for your time.

It is rare for an eeprom to actually fail, just erase the original and refit.

hi keith, thanks for the interest,  just found the setting i've just put them setting back into the tv  has the fault was no freeview available, tv is up and running again but when i switch it off and back on again comes on to analog then when you press dtv on the remote it freeze then switches it self off and back with the freeview working not sure whats happening there thanks
