Happy New year

Hi Sparky,
You're becoming whimsical, but def a good ending for Rod Hull - He was almost as funny as Stanley Unwin.
Checked Stan's grave, as one does, and was impressed as he held in death, stuff that made him famous in 'Worker's Playtime'
While ago I know, but as you're now retired, you will probably recall in some horror - Joys of the 50s BBC, when 'The Light Programme' - And The 'Clitheroe Kid' was the best young chaps could expect on a Sunday.
Jeeze - Times then were dire, surprised we've made it so far, and can still grin a bit - Chris.
PS - Think a piccy to save folks hunting.
Turnip:
Hi Folks,
Had a look on YouTube, and some Spaniards are changing the chips all the time, with just hot air and some liquid flux - No English translation yet though.
Think get a decent USB microscope as chip is pretty small, and can only see it with glasses, and can't see any pins at all, though guess it has some, as they mostly do.
Well, it's a challenge, and the chip is only 99p from China, as guess it's a known problem.
Will Natch' report outcome - Chris.
Had another one in today 14/1/15 - A Sony KDL37U4000 with an AS15-F chip - Getting some ChipQuik from the Flea, and hope chip doesn't have the thermal grounding bit, as can yet only heat from above, where ChipQuik isn't so useful.
